A collective of creative misfits comes together to tell their uncompromising story of never quite fitting in, but nonetheless forging ahead with their eccentric vision, luring us down the rabbit hole and into their dark, yet playful surrealistic utopia.

Alexandra Groover’s framed interactive vampire ponchos invite guests themselves to feature in the exhibition by becoming a film noir character. By positioning their bodies behind the frames, they can embody a genre of cinema that emerged during a period of uncertain political and economic times, much like the current state of the world we are experiencing today. With social media being a primary method of communication, Groover invites visitors to have fun photographing themselves within the framed garments, with the aim of flooding our feeds with joy and dark humor in these treacherous times.
