Originally from San Diego, California, Alexandra Groover studied at Rhode Island School of Design before moving to London to study at Central St Martins. Time spent in the studios of Alexander McQueen and Zandra Rhodes inspired her to launch her own company in 2008.

With a desire to encourage positive change within the industry by offering a line of luxury sustainable clothing, Alexandra Groover decided to create special garments that will last years rather than seasons. Alexandra Groover clothing is designed to be wearable, while at the same time providing unexpected, yet discreet and sophisticated design details. All pieces are made locally either in London or California with zero waste techniques, using locally sourced organic fabrics. Grey Label diffusion line clothing is made fairly in Los Angeles and India.
